To qualify for professional membership, you should be actively working in the interior design field or a related profession. This includes interior designers, interior architects, design consultants, and related specialists with relevant experience or qualifications.
After submitting the initial application form, you'll be asked to provide proof of identity, professional qualifications (if applicable), portfolio samples (for professional members), or proof of enrollment (for student members). Associate members will need to provide business registration information.
The initial review typically takes 3-5 business days. Once your application is approved, you'll receive payment instructions. Membership is activated upon receipt of payment, and your welcome package will arrive within 2 weeks.
Yes, you can upgrade your membership when your circumstances change. For example, student members can upgrade to professional membership upon graduation. Simply contact our membership department to request an upgrade.
Membership fees are non-refundable. However, if you have exceptional circumstances, please contact our membership department to discuss your situation.
You'll receive a renewal notice via email approximately 30 days before your membership expires. You can renew online through the member portal or by contacting the membership department directly.
